The therapeutic relationship is an intimate, unique, confidential dynamic that requires authenticity and genuineness on both of our ends in order to be as fruitful for you as it can be. It is a collaborative relationship where you are the expert on your own life and I am here to help navigate the GPS of your journey. I show up as my absolute self and I encourage you to do the same.
I am empathic, flexible and recognize the healing factor that humor can have. Therapy need not be sterile in order to be effective. Sometimes a situation involves pain and your outlook can compound suffering. This can change; not necessarily the situation, but the tools, perspective and actions as you walk through it or look back on it can.
We heal in community and in working with me, I offer to hold space for care, empathy, compassion, accountability, laughter, crying, FEELING the emotions, screaming, moving past, sitting with and BREATHING through.
